Boarding General Info

None of us like to leave our pets when we go away, but when you do we are here for you. We have carefully chosen a group of people to care for your pets while you are away. They were chosen for their love of animals and their understanding that the pets we have boarding with us are to be treated as their own. They work tirelessly to document your pets daily activities and make sure that their enviroment is clean, safe and relaxed.

We have a limited amount of space, through the summer and around holidays we are booked solid. It is never too early to make your boarding reservations. As soon as you know your dates of travel, contact us.

Pets with upper respiratory symptoms i.e. sneezing, coughing, will not be allowed to board.

Boarding Fees

Canine Boarding is 22 dollars per night.
Feline Boarding is 12 dollars per night.
If your pet stays 10 nights or more you will receive a 10 % discount.
**Mulitple pets that stay in the same run will also receive a discount.
Special feeding is 1 dollar per night
Medicating is 1 dollar per night
**Applies only to canine guests. We will only allow dogs to stay together that will not harm each other in any way. The determination will be made after speaking with the owner. If your pets do not get along staying together they will be seperated for their safety. We will put them across from each other so that they can see each other and will continue to excersize them together.

Tours

The Kennel and Cat ward are available for tours between the hours of 9am - 11:30am and 1:30pm - 4:00pm monday through friday and 9am - 11:30pm on Saturday. In order to not disrupt the check in process we will not be able to take you through the kennel or cat ward when you are dropping your pet off for boarding.

Medications

All medications that are brought in with your pet for boarding should be in the original prescription container and instructions must be clear. If you are not currently medicating your pet as directed on the drug label it is important that the receptionist are informed of this. Any daily suppliments should be brought in their original containers with your pets name printed clearly on the bottle.

See our vaccination protocol under the services catagory for more information about vaccinations. In addition to being current on vaccinations it is required that your pet be free of any and all parasites, if he or she is not your pet will be treated at your expense. These standards are in place for the safety of everyone.

Checking In

Depending upon the number of items, medications etc. that you bring with your pet for boarding the check in process can be simple or complex and realitivly time consuming so please allow time for this.

When you come in a kennel technician will be paged and come to escort your dog or cat to their accommodations. Upon entry they will be weighed and have their ears, eyes, and skin looked at before they can go to their designated spot. What the kennel technicians are looking for is parasites or sign of infection.

The receptionist will take all of the items that you have brought with you and hand you a boarding agreement to read and sign. The receptionist will let you know if there are any vaccinations required and ask if there are any serviced needed other than what is required. You will then be asked to give detailed feeding and medicating instructions if applicable.

Every Item including carriers, toys, food, bedding etc.should be clearly marked with your pets name.

Have your emergency number with you.
If there are a great number of detailed instructions please have them typed up and ready for our receptionists to go over with you before you leave.

Although we work very hard to return all of your pets items we can not be responsible for lost items.
