Q: Can my cat get out and walk around?

A: No. When a cat does not want to be caught a cat will not be caught. If your cat is boarding long term special careful arrangements will be made to exercise them only if their temperment permits.

Q: Why cant my cats who live together stay in the same cage?
A: There are 2 very good reasons we can not allow them to stay together. The first is due to the amount of space thay have. The cats that board with us tend to be very content with the amount of space that they have however it is simply not large enough for 2 cats to stay together. The second reason would be saftey ours and theirs. In a confinded area they can either turn on each other or us trying to protect each other.

Q: will my dog be allowed to play with other dogs?

A: No. For their protection the dogs are not allowed to have contact with each other unless they come from the same family.
Q: Is music played for them?
A: Yes. Studies have shown that dogs tend to like country or cassical music, we also have CD's that were made to relax the dogs. Cats prefer quiet.

Q: Can my pet see other pets?

A: Yes. The doors to the runs resemble tall fence gates. They can see the dogs across from them but can not make contact. There are some dogs that do not feel comfortable around unfamiliar animals and we recognize this, in this case we will place them in a run that other dogs are less visible. The cats can see other cats across the room from them.

Q: Is anyone there all night with my pet?

A: No. In most cases your pet is home alone for a good portion of the day. While boarding this order is reversed. There is lots of activity in the kennel all day long, after all of the excitement they are tired and ready to get some sleep. Rest assure that they are safe and comfortable before being left for the evening

Q: Can I bring my pets own food and treats?

A: Yes. We feed a dry food that is formulated to be easy on the digestive system. If your pet eats canned food or has a special diet you will need to bring that with you. If the feeding instructions are simple i.e. dry food and or canned food fed twice daily, you will not inccure a special feeding charge but if the meal takes extra preperation there will be a fee.

Q: Can I bring my pets bedding?

A:
Yes within reason. We are equiped with a standard size washer and dryer if their bedding or bedding cover can not be laundered in a standard size washer and dryer it will not be used. We change or wash the bedding daily it is difficult and time comsuming to wash comforters and things of that nature.

Q: Can I bring toys for my pet?

A: Yes, again within reason. 1-2 toys is a good amount we find that more toys than that are difficult to keep track of.

Q: What if my pet gets sick? Will the Doctor take care of them?

A: Yes. When you sign our boarding agreement you are also giving permission for us to treat your pet should the need arise. We also get an emergency number, we will use this number to contact you should your pet fall ill. If the number that you leave is not a direct line to you make sure that the person we will contact can make decisions for you and your pet. Minor ailments such as stress related vomiting or diarrhea will be treated without notification.
